Safety in Numbers is a monthly bookkeeping and money mindset meetup for small business owners in the Comox Valley who want a more grounded, supported way to stay on top of their finances. Together, we connect with like-minded entrepreneurs, build awareness around income and expenses, and gently work through the stress or resistance that can come up when looking at our numbers.

Things that are hard are always better when done in community
Money brings up a lot for all of us. It’s a hard one to face and MOST business owners face it less than they’d like to admit.
Get into a monthly routine that allows you to be financially proactive
It feels better to be on top of things than to be catching up. Setting aside this time helps you plan ahead and make decisions.
Know what’s happening in your business so you can address issues early.
Decision-making as business owners is crucial, but it’s hard to make good decisions when we aren’t aware of what’s happening.
We meet on the last Tuesday of the month
Here’s how each monthly meetup goes:
8:30-8:45am | doors open for coffee and settling in
8:45-9am | celebrate wins, acknowledge challenges
9-9:30am | co-working (ie. inputting info into spreadsheet for the month)

9:30-9:45am | reflection and planning ahead
